We're Giving Away Free Photoshoots in Fort Wayne

Creative Project

Get High-Quality Photos and Help Us Build Our Portfolio—A Win-Win for Both of Us

You’ve got an interesting business, we’ve got a camera. A perfect match! As we are aggressively focused on expanding our stock photography portfolio, we are seeking out local businesses in the Fort Wayne area that would make perfect candidates for stock photography.

Whether that's local produce farms, wineries, restaurant kitchens, tech industries, landscapes, or office spaces - we may be interested in collaborating with you!

Why are we doing this?

You might say we are shooting ourselves in the foot. We do, after all, offer commercial photoshoots at $100/hour (with a 2 hour minimum). The key difference is that for our paid photography work, we will come in and capture exactly the images YOU are looking for. However, for these FREE photoshoots - we are coming in to select local businesses to photograph exclusively what WE want to capture for stock photography purposes.

How does this benefit YOUR business? Well, you still get a copy of ALL the images we took. While they may be more ‘generic’ since their focus is to sell online to a broader audience, they will still be VERY useful images for you to have and to promote your business.

All we ask is for a property release form (and any model release forms if necessary) and permission to list the images we take online. While that might be considered a ‘cost’, there is no payment required beyond that.

This mission started earlier this year, with five local businesses already completed and a few more already scheduled! It has been exciting to work with businesses that might not otherwise have ever considered hiring a photographer AND for me to get my foot in the door to photograph some cool things!

What businesses have you done?

Say no more! This blog is already feeling wordy. I’ll cut to the chase and show you some of my FAVORITE photos this mission has produced this year. We’ve got work from Chris Peña making pasta from scratch, Hungry Dog Farm and Kurtz Produce with their amazing fresh produce selections, and McComBees letting me get up and close to bee hives!

A very fascinating and detailed process to make more queens.

Examining Queen Cups

From the prior photo, queen cells are placed in queen cups and onto a frame like this. That top row is lined with future queens! This was one of the last hives we photographed, and they were very aggressive about protecting their queens, so I did earn my one and only bee sting from this operation.
