A Journey Through Stunning Aerial Images and Stock Photography Adventures
This year we finally did a major upgrade for one of our biggest toys…cough cough…I mean tools! Our DJI Phantom 4 has gotten us very far over the years, but with its larger size and lack of software features, as well as an outdated camera, our aerial capabilities were long overdue for an improvement.
We now utilize the DJI Mavic 3, which has a very compact design, significantly improved battery life, great new software features, and a much improved camera (a Hasselblad in fact), as well as a secondary zoom camera! I can’t stress enough how much this new drone has improved our aerial work.
In addition to that news, we’ve made a significant push this year to grow our stock photography and videography portfolios. This has led to several short trips to major and minor cities around us and beyond to capture as many images of those places as we can. We love to travel (and eat), so this is RIGHT up our alley.
Some of our recent travels include San Francisco (CA), Muncie (IN), Indianapolis (IN), Chicago (IL), and Ann Arbor (MI). We’ve also spent a fair amount of time capturing images in our hometown of Fort Wayne (IN). Instead of bombarding you with multiple blogs for each of these trips, we decided to compile those into this post about our new drone and share some of our favorite new aerial images.
