Allen County Fair
Light Painting and Infrared Rides
This weekend is the Allen County Fair at the Allen County Fairgrounds. Instead of participating in any of the rides, I could not resist photographing them instead. I have always loved painting with light and doing long exposures, and these rides light-paint themselves! I wasn't about to argue with that! I decided to test out the Infrared Camera as well to see what results that would produce. In some cases, the results came out a little "alien".
I highly recommend checking out the Fair. There are plenty of rides, games, and great food to eat. I was surprised to find deep fried Oreo's, yum! Below are some of my favorite colorful long exposures of the different rides, a mix of normal and infrared.
As a teaser for my next blog, that same night I also decided to test out a new project - Light Painting with Steel Wool. The sparky results are quite mesmerizing! Stay tuned for my next blog COMING SOON where I'll share the process and results.
